The automated collimator kit is designed for applications involving high X-ray intensities that exceed the operating limits of the detector and signal processing electronics. It enables precise collimation of the primary X-ray beam, thereby contributing to stable measurements, higher data quality and reliable protection of sensitive components even under demanding operating conditions.

By selecting appropriate tungsten collimation discs, it is possible to control the intensity of the incident X-ray radiation and thus ensure optimal processing of the X-ray spectrum by the detector and electronics.
